| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The objectives of this independent study were to access the nutrional status ofemployees at Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden to evaluate their knowledge and practiceof Food-Based Dietary Guidelines (FBDG) for Thai people, and to investigate the relationshipbetween their knowledge and their practice of FBDG. Group of 82 persons was studied. themstruments in this study were a guestionnaire a guestionnaire about general information andpractice of FBDG, and Detecto Scale used for measuring weight and height. These intrumentswere tested for validity and reliability before being used in data collection. Statistical data including frguency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Chi-Sgure were used for analysis. The results showed 75.61% of the study group had normal nutritional status, 15.85%overweight status, and 8.50% underweight status. The study group had good, medium and lowlevels of knowledge of FBDG of 58.54%, 40.24% and 1.22% respectively. The study grouppracticed of FBDG at the medium level for 6 food items and at the low level for 9 foor items.There were statistical significant associations between the levels of knowledge and the levelsof practice of FBDG in the casre of sweet foods consumption, whisky, beer and other alcoholbeverage drinking. There were statistical significant associations between gender and the levelsof practice about FBDG in the cases of fruits and vegetables consumption and milk drinking.ln addition, there were significant associations between age groups and the levels of practiceof FBDG in the cases of freshly cooked foods and salty foods consumption. |
