The purpose of this study was to study theorganizing of the environmental education of 35organizations which were registered for EnvironmentalEducation Act during 1992-1997. The sample was composedof organizing administrators and 35 organizers. The 70questionnaires were collected by the researcher andsent by mail. Sixty-four questionnaires or 91.4percents were returned. The data were then analyzed interms of percentage, mean and standard deviations. The results were as follows: 1. The objectives of the organizing theenvironmental education activities were mostlyemphasised on knowledge, participation and awareness inenvironment. 2. The environmental education content weremostly emphasised on forestry development and wildanimals development. 3. The organizing in environmental educationactivities was mostly emphasised on training activitiesusing lecture, opinion expressions and group processrespectively. 4. Teaching materials were pictures, slides,slide tapes and video tapes on environmental education. 5. Observation on students' participation wasmostly used in measurement and evaluation. 6. The budgets were found to be the mostimportant problem in organizing the environmentaleducation activities on non-governmental organizations.
