| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Pluchea indica and Angiopteris evecta have been used widely in traditional medicine to treat a variety of illnesses including symptoms of tuberculosis (TB) and thus, could provide alternative sources of anti-TB compounds. Preliminary in vitro anti-mycobacterial screening of solvent partitions of both plant materials, using tetrazolium microdilution assay showed that the leaf n-hexane of P. indica exhibited the highest inhibitory activity with MIC of 200 pg/mL against M. kansasii. The highest activity for A. evecta was also exhibited by its leaf n-hexane partition with MIC of 50 pg/mL against M. tuberculosis H37Rv. |
