The objectives of this research were as followings, 1) to compare knowledge of property of herbs in compressed ball and herbal compressed ball use before and after workshop participating of health volunteer in Tambon Seakeaw, Amphur Muang, Roi-Ed Province, 2) to compare the difference of practice after participating the workshop among age and educational level of health volunteer, and 3) to determine the satisfaction level of health volunteer about workshop. Purposive Sampling technique was employed for data collection and 45 health volunteers were selected based on criteria of voluntary mind, commitment to participate thorough workshop process and willing to transfer knowledge after workshop to other peoples. Research tools were questionnaire and test. Descriptive statistics were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics were t - test (Dependent Paired) and F - test (One-way ANOVA). The findings were revealed that after health volunteers participated in workshop for learning and practicing with herbal compressed ball use, they gain more knowledge on properties of herbs contained in herbal compressed and muscle pain treatment with statistically significant at level of 0.01 while the different practicing among age and education, they were no statistically significant at level of 0.05 and 0.05. They had satisfaction level of health volunteer about workshop at most level (4.02). Recommendations, it should be promoted and supported health volunteer to transfer knowledge of property of herbs in compressed ball and herbal compressed ball use in their village to realize and aware about the usefulness and value of herbal use instead of chemically analgesic drug. Additionally, they are able to take care themselves at primary level by using community herbs in order to conserve and use local resources with the highest maximized benefits. © EuroJournals Publishing, Inc. 2012.
