| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The objective of this paper was to compare the optimization of machining conditions for part face-milling operations. Single pass face-milling has been considered for bilateral part-face milling, unilateral part-face milling and full-face milling, respectively. The machining conditions including the cutting speed, depth of cut, and feed were obtained to minimize total production cost and production time while considering technological constraints such as speed, feed, tool life, cutting force, cutting power and surface finish. A nonlinear optimization technique was used to solve the optimal problem. Comparison of the results reveals the optimum solution. Illustrative examples were demonstrated in each part of the face-milling operation. |
