The Objectives of this study were to investigate the personal background and psychological aspects of the female rape victims which included: case history, intellectual ability, personality trait, attitude and circumstance of the victims. The sample was 10 young females, at less dull normal intelligence, age range between 7 to 18 years old who were raped by excluding mental deficiency case. The subjects were the victims who received some help from the Non-Government Organization (Ban-Thanom-Rak Project) during January to April, 1989. To gather the necessary informations, each participant has to cmmplete three consecutive procedures (1) the case history (2) the demographic questionnaire and (3) the psychological test. The data obtained from the history files were analyzed using the qualitative form. The results indicated that the effects of the occurence had various impacts to the biological, psychological and sociological aspects of the victims, Since, most of the cases were reped from the acquainted persons, such as father, stepfather etc. Thus, domestic assault was frequently cases. Mainly were raped through the use or threat of force. Also the results showed the forced sexuality lasted several years and usually uncovered by the average of 4 years periods. According to the psychological tests found that female rape victims had emotional stress of inadequacy feeling. In addition, they had the negative attitude and the anxious sense against the opposite sex. Finally, the finding revealed that the rapists mostly came from low socioeconomical background who had previous histories of gambler, alcolhol user and child offender.
