The purposes of this research were to construct the French reading comprehensive lessons by using computer assisted instruction program for Mathayomsuksa Six Students at Wat Borworn Mongkhon School in Bangkok Metropolis

to determine the efficiency of the lessons based on the 80/80 standard

to compare students learning achievement between pretest and posttest of the French reading comprehensive lessons

and to study the studentsattitude towards the computer assisted instruction in the French reading comprehensive lessons. Twenty-eight students were purposively selected from Mathayomsuksa Six Students at Wat Borworn Mongkhon School in the 1990 academicyear. After giving the pretest, the French reading comprehensive lessons using the CAI program were fulfilled. Then the achievement test was administered to the sample group. The data were analyzed through the applications of the percentage and t-test. The results showed that the French reading comprehensive lessons using the CAI program had the efficiency of 86.64/80.04 that was higher than the 80/80 standard. There was a significant difference between the pretest and the posttest at P .01. The students had good attitude towards the CAI in the French reading comprehensive lessons.
