The purposes of this research were a) to study the level of syrup concentration which was suitable for spraying in order to increase the rambutan productions and b) to promote the growers learning about pollination by syrup spraying. The subjects consisted of 2 groups. The first group were 80 four-year-old Rong Rain rambutan trees. The experiment was randomized completely block design, with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Each replication had 4 trees. The second group were 10 rambutan growers who were randomized by purposive sampling. The research tools were the tools used in the experimental plot and the check list questionnaires used for asking the growers. An SAS statistical package program was used to analyze the rambutan production data. To obtain the results of syrup concentration level, an Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used. The results of participlants learning were analyzed, using mean and percentage. The findings were as follows: 1. Each treatment, the level of syrup concentration with effected on rambutan productions was not statistically different. 2. Most of the growers who participated in the experiment were at age of 30-60, Prathom Suksa graduates, and had experienced more than 10 years in growing about 6-20 rai of rambutan trees. Most of them thought that:- the tools and expensive equipment were not necessary for the agricultural experiment.- the agricultural experiment effected on the increase in productions and costs.- when the anther was mixed in the water and was sprayed at the stigma and when the anther was put on the stigma, the rambutans would bear much more fruits.- the experiment of rambutan pollination by syrup spraying helped the rambutans bear fruits as usual and they were not sure whether putting the anther on the stigma or syrup spraying would provide more productions.- they had little understanding about the procedures of agricultural experiment and wanted to participate an agricultural training program.- the rambutan pollination by syrup spraying was safer than that of planofix spraying and would try this method in their own orchards.
