| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The objectives of this research were to study the pattern of integrated farmingpersonal characteristics and socio-economics factor associated with adoption of integratedfarming and problems of farmers of integrated farming in San Sai District, Chiang MaiProvince. The data were collected from 95 cases of those who joined integrated farmingproject . The data were gathered by using interview questionnaires and processed throughStatistical Package for the Social Sciences, SPSS/PC('+), the data were percentage, mean,standard deviation, Pearson's coefficient correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis byusing stepwise method. The result of this study shown that the most popular integrated farming patternwhich were crops integrated with animal husbandry by integrating fishery, animals andcrop. For cropping integrated pattern which included rice field and orchards. For theintegration among animal husbandry most farmers poultry combined with fishery. In integrated farming pattern , it was found that 38.9 percent of farmers adoptedintegrated farming by operating their farms with crops and 2 types of husbandry such asfishery and animals. They also applied the by product from forms to be compost and to coverthe soil ( 83.2 percent ), and to feed fish's (68.4 percent). Most farmers (47.3 percent) whojoined integrated farming project adopted of integrated farming at a moderate level and 31.5 percent adopted at high level. From the result of the analysis found that the frequency of experiences inintegrated farming field trip were positively with significant farmer adoption of integratedfarming. It could be interpret that farmers will adopt integrated farming technology moreif they obtained more experience in integrated farming field trip. Almost all integrated farming farmers expressed some problems such as (1)marketing, low price, especially farmers who to plant longan, guava, mango, poultry andfishery (2) poor knowledge (3) poor integrated farming technical and (4) animal disease andplat insect. This study suggests that all related organization should support field trip activity ,especially conducting study tour to visit the successful farmers or using video record thoseactivity to farmars. Furthermore , the officers should provide more technical knowledge ofintegrated farming to farmer. The officers may transfer information via television, towerbroadcasting to the farmers. |
