บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย :

This research aimed to study the administrative authority base using by the principals of schools affiliated to the Office of Mueang Lamphun District Primary Education and to study suggestions made by teachers in the schools. Population and sample were 63 school administrators and 236 instructive teachers respectively. Instrument used for the study was a questionnaire comprising a checklist, rating scale and open-ended parts. The checklist and rating scale parts were used for asking the items concerning the administrative authority base using by school administrators whereas the open-ended part was used for collecting the suggestions concerned from teachers. Data were analyzed through the applications of frequency and percentage. The findings of this research were as follows: As a whole, the school administrators administered the authority base ranking from the most to the least as the expert, referent, reward, legitimate, and coercive powers respectively. The suggestions made for the uses of five (5) powers were that the rewards should not be given too often

it should be used on the important case only. Moreover, the reward should be used basing on the appropriateness, fairness, and consistency. The coercive power should be used for the last choice when other methods or techniques were not successful. However, using the coercive power must be fit with the cause and problem, not because of bias. Furthermore, it must be used by considering the rightness and carefulness in accordance with the legitimacy. In addition, the administrators should behave as a good model and never show off their knowledge and ability

and they should develop themselves continuously.
