| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | In the reformulation of whiteware, the packing behaviour of a body is given priority where bodies were made up of 15 % fine-sized components, 30- 35 % medium-sized components and 50-55 % coarse-sized components. In this study, the effect of particle size of added quartz, the effect of fluxing materials and alumina on the characteristic and behavioural properties were investigated. Specimens prepared were fired over a temperature range of 1220 C to 1340 C. The whitewares were characterised by determining the linear shrinkage, bulk density, apparent porosity, chemical composition and the phases formed. Scanning electron microscopy was performed in some cases. |
